Our reception staff will be very pleased to help you in choosing the best boat trips around the island or, for the more active, the best trekking paths around Mount Epomeo, the volcanic mountain which dominates the island. Ischia is also a great base from which to visit Capri, Procida, Sorrento and Pompei and excursions run frequently throughout the year.
The island is also well known for its magnificent botanical gardens and one of these, the ‘Rovino’ which specialises in rare cactuses and other succulent plants, is only 300 metres from the hotel.
Diving amongst the island’s rich and abundant sea life is also very popular and, for those who prefer to stay dry, boat trips are readily available for dolphin spotting.
But it is the beaches that make a great holiday and in Ischia tourists are spoilt for choice. Innumerable beaches are dotted around the island ranging in size from large bays to small coves, many of which will also offer a variety of water sports.
